Note to Students

The American School of Business and Management (ASBM) has introduced flexible Payment Plans for our valued students.

Students may choose ONE of the following options:

  1. One-time payment: USD $650

  2. Monthly payment plan: USD $220 per month for 3 months

  3. Monthly payment plan: USD $165 per month for 4 months
  4.  Monthly payment plan: USD $135 per month for 5 months

Application Requirements for the Diploma Programme

As part of the application process, students must upload the following documents:

1. Valid Identification Card (National ID or Passport) – Mandatory
2. High School Diploma or equivalent academic certification
3. At least three (3) CXC or equivalent are required – Mandatory

At the end of the programme, students will be able to:

  1.  Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of human resource management theories, principles, and practices, including strategic HRM, workforce planning, and organizational development, to effectively contribute to organizational goals.

    Courses: HRM 101 (Human Resource Management), HRM 105 (HR Analytics and Workforce Planning), HRM 106 (Human Resource Planning), HRM 109 (Strategic Human Resource Management)

  2.  Apply recruitment, selection, training, and development strategies to attract, retain, and develop a competent workforce, while adhering to ethical and legal standards in human resource management.

    Courses: HRM 102 (Recruitment and Selection), HRM 104 (Training and Development), HRM 101 (Human Resource Management), HRM 109 (Strategic Human Resource Management)

  3.  Design and implement compensation, benefits, and performance management systems that motivate employees, enhance productivity, and align with organizational objectives.

    Courses: HRM 103 (Compensation and Benefits Management), HRM 110 (Performance Management), HRM 109 (Strategic Human Resource Management)

  4. Utilize human resource information systems (HRIS), HR analytics, and workforce data to inform evidence-based decision-making, improve HR processes, and support organizational performance.

    Courses: HRM 105 (HR Analytics and Workforce Planning), HRM 107 (Human Resources Information System), HRM 106 (Human Resource Planning)

  5.  Apply negotiation, conflict resolution, and employee relations techniques to manage workplace disputes, enhance organizational culture, and foster a collaborative working environment.

    Courses: HRM 108 (Conflict Resolution and Negotiation), HRM 101 (Human Resource Management)

  6.  Demonstrate ethical reasoning and ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and organizational policies in all aspects of HR practice, promoting fairness and accountability.

    Courses: HRM 101 (Human Resource Management), HRM 102 (Recruitment and Selection), HRM 103 (Compensation and Benefits Management)

  7.  Develop the skills to function as a strategic partner, providing leadership and guidance in HR initiatives, driving organizational change, and contributing to sustainable business success.

    Courses: HRM 109 (Strategic Human Resource Management), HRM 101 (Human Resource Management), HRM 110 (Performance Management), HRM 104 (Training and Development)
