Note to Students

The American School of Business and Management (ASBM) has introduced flexible Payment Plans for our valued students.

Students may choose ONE of the following options:

1. One-time payment: USD $650

2. Monthly payment plan: USD $220 per month for 3 months

3. Monthly payment plan: USD $165 per month for 4 months
4.  Monthly payment plan: USD $135 per month for 5 months

Application Requirements for the Diploma Programme

As part of the application process, students must upload the following documents:

1. Valid Identification Card (National ID or Passport) – Mandatory
2. High School Diploma or equivalent academic certification
3. At least three (3) CXC or equivalent are required – Mandatory

At the end of the programme, students will be able to:

1. Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of leadership theories, management principles, and supervisory practices, and will apply these competencies to effectively lead individuals and teams, make informed managerial decisions, and foster productive workplace relationships in diverse organizational environments.                                                                                                                                                                                                                    Courses: MGT 108 – Principles of Leadership and Management | MGT 103 – Supervisory Management | MGT 102 – Organizational Behavior and Team Management.

2. Critically analyze internal and external organizational environments using strategic management frameworks, evaluate competitive and operational challenges, and develop, implement, and assess strategic plans and policies that support sustainable organizational success.
   Courses: MGT 107 – Business Strategy and Policy | BUS 200 – Project Management.

3. Communicate clearly, professionally, and persuasively through written, oral, and digital channels, demonstrating the ability to prepare business documents, deliver presentations, collaborate with teams, and engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.                                                                                                                                                                                                              Courses: BUS 101 – Business Communication | BUS 200 – Project Management

4. Apply human resource management principles and strategic HR practices to workforce planning, recruitment and selection, employee development, performance appraisal, and retention, ensuring alignment between human capital strategies and organizational objectives.                                                                                                                                                                                        Courses: HRM 101 – Human Resource Management | HRM 109 – Strategic Human Resources Management | MGT 110 – Performance Management

5. Demonstrate ethical judgment and social responsibility by applying ethical leadership principles, corporate governance standards, and regulatory frameworks to managerial decision-making, promoting transparency, accountability, and sustainable organizational conduct.                                                                                                                                                                            Courses: MGT 105 – Ethical Leadership and Corporate Governance | MGT 108 – Principles of Leadership and Management

6. Assess and manage organizational behavior and team dynamics, utilizing motivation, leadership, and performance theories to enhance collaboration, resolve workplace conflicts, improve employee engagement, and optimize individual and team performance.                                                                                                                                                                                                                Courses: MGT 102 – Organizational Behavior and Team Management | MGT 110 – Performance Management | MGT 103 – Supervisory Management

7.
