Note to Students

The American School of Business and Management (ASBM) has introduced flexible Payment Plans for our valued students.

Students may choose ONE of the following options:

1. One-time payment: USD $650

2. Monthly payment plan: USD $220 per month for 3 months

3. Monthly payment plan: USD $165 per month for 4 months
4.  Monthly payment plan: USD $135 per month for 5 months

Application Requirements for the Diploma Programme

As part of the application process, students must upload the following documents:

1. Valid Identification Card (National ID or Passport) – Mandatory
2. High School Diploma or equivalent academic certification
3. At least three (3) CXC or equivalent are required – Mandatory

At the end of the programme, students will be able to:

1. Apply foundational principles of teaching, learning, and educational psychology to support effective, developmentally appropriate, and learner-centered instructional practices.
   Courses: EDU 201 (Foundations of Teaching and Learning), EDU 205 (Educational Psychology)

2. Design, implement, and evaluate curriculum and instructional strategies that address diverse learning needs and promote inclusive, engaging classroom environments.
   Courses: EDU 104 (Curriculum Development and Instructional Leadership), EDU 203 (Classroom Management and Student Engagement), EDU 206 (Inclusive Education and Special Needs)

3. Plan and manage classrooms effectively by applying positive behavior support, student engagement strategies, and proactive behavior management techniques.
   Courses: EDU 203 (Classroom Management and Student Engagement), EDU 306 (Behavior Management and Positive Intervention)

4. Assess, identify, and monitor student learning and development using appropriate assessment tools, with particular attention to students with special educational needs.
   Courses: EDU 303 (Assessment and Identification in Special Education), EDU 205 (Educational Psychology)

5. Develop, implement, and evaluate Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that align with assessment data, learner needs, and inclusive education practices.
   Courses: EDU 304 (Individualized Education Program Development), EDU 206 (Inclusive Education and Special Needs), EDU 303 (Assessment and Identification in Special Education)

6. Apply strategies for language and literacy development to support communication, comprehension, and academic achievement across diverse learner populations.
   Courses: EDU 208 (Language and Literacy Development), EDU 201 (Foundations of Teaching and Learning)

7. Demonstrate effective professional communication skills to collaborate with students, families, colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams in educational settings.
   Courses: EDU 210 (Communication Skills for Educators), EDU 304 (Individualized Education Program Development)
