Refund Policy
Students are entitled to a 100% refund only if no assessments have been submitted. Once a student submits any form of assessment, whether a quiz, assignment, or exam, they will no longer be eligible for a refund under any circumstances.
Discrimination Policy
At the American School of Business and Management (ASBM), we are committed to fostering an inclusive, equitable, and respectful virtual learning environment. As a fully online institution, we understand the importance of promoting fairness and dignity across all digital platforms and learning spaces.
ASBM has a strict zero-tolerance policy for any form of discrimination, harassment, or bias. We are committed to ensuring that all students, faculty, and staff are treated fairly and respectfully, regardless of their background or identity.
Discrimination based on the following, whether verbal, written, visual, or behavioral, will not be tolerated:
- Race or ethnic background
- Color
- National origin or citizenship
- Gender or gender identity
- Sexual orientation
- Age
- Religious or spiritual beliefs
- Disability (including learning or physical disabilities)
- Marital or family status
- Language or accent
- Socioeconomic status
- Political or philosophical beliefs
In our virtual classrooms, email communications, etc., all members of the ASBM community are expected to:
- Communicate respectfully and professionally
- Avoid any discriminatory language, images, jokes, or assumptions
- Use inclusive language and behavior that values diversity
- Report any incidents of discrimination or inappropriate conduct promptly
- Help create a safe and welcoming online learning space for everyone
If a student or staff member experiences or witnesses any form of discrimination or harassment, they are encouraged to report the matter immediately to:
- The Director of Academic and Student Affairs or
- The President
All complaints will be investigated in a confidential, prompt, and impartial manner. Appropriate corrective action will be taken based on the findings.
We encourage all members of the ASBM community to uphold these values and contribute to a virtual environment rooted in inclusivity, empathy, and integrity.
