COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of hotel housekeeping and rooms operations, with emphasis on the practical procedures, standards, and management practices required to maintain clean, safe, efficient, and guest-ready hotel environments. Students will develop the knowledge and practical skills required to manage guestroom operations, coordinate housekeeping activities, inspect rooms, maintain service standards, manage linen and supplies, respond to guest needs, and support effective rooms division operations.
Throughout the course, students will explore key areas of hotel housekeeping and rooms operations, including guestroom cleaning and servicing, housekeeping procedures, room inspection, quality standards, housekeeping supervision, front office and housekeeping coordination, guest service, complaint resolution, linen and laundry operations, room supplies management, hotel safety and security, room maintenance, housekeeping technology, and operational excellence.
